Families, clients, staff and supporters are encouraged to join Hear and Say to have a say in our advocacy and awareness of hearing health. Becoming a member with Hear and Say goes a long way in helping us to keep driving change through advocacy and research, while delivering sustainable, interdisciplinary programs for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The annual cost of membership is $30.00 (including GST). Membership is valid from 1 January to 31 December annually and offers the following benefits:

  • Invitation to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in the final quarter of each calendar year
  • A ‘voice’ for those receiving services from Hear and Say or as a staff member
  • One official vote per active member at the AGM
  • Regular publications, including newsletters and the Annual Report
  • Only members are eligible for appointment to the Hear and Say Board of Directors.
