This social skills group is for young adults in Grades 11 and 12 and helps build self-confidence, social interaction, resilience and independence.
The two-day workshop involves fun, challenge-based activities focused on communication, understanding hearing loss, and preparing for the transition to life beyond school. During the workshop we foster social interaction through fun activities. In the past participants have taken part in cooking activities, scavenger hunts, creating art, and LEGO builds.
