About COMET

For children aged eight to 11 years, this three-day workshop encourages participants to build their self-confidence and independence, while also working on social and communication skills.

The skill-building is done though fun, challenge-based activities focusing on communication and problem-solving (for example, in the past these activities have included ninja courses, rock climbing and escape rooms). COMET is led by our experienced staff and also helps participants to learn more about their hearing loss, technology talking about this with their peers.

Three-day workshop: *Monday, 4 April January 8.30am – 2.30pm, Tuesday, 5 and Wednesday, 6 April 9.00am – 2.00pm

Follow-up workshop: Monday, 27 June 10.00am – 2.00pm
