About the clinic
Hear and Say is hosting a two-day hearing screening clinic for children who received a referral or were absent on the day we came to their school to screen the students hearing.
Even though your child might have passed the newborn hearing screen, hearing loss can come on at any point in time with the number of children with hearing loss doubling by the time they reach school age. For some kids, their hearing can change gradually, often without anyone noticing.

Our three-stage hearing assessment includes an exam of the ear canal and ear drum, ear drum movement and audiometry assessment.
The Hearing Screening Clinic is being offered as a free service for children who received a referral or were absent on the day we came to their school. An audiologist will be available on the day of screening for a complete hearing test at no cost should your child not pass the re-screen.
A full hearing test begins with a discussion of your child’s hearing health history, followed by a range of painless, non-invasive assessments. Click here to find out more about each of these tests.
Contact the team on 07 3850 2111 to make a booking for a hearing test at a time that suits you, however this will incur a fee.
