A wonderful way to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of so many people in our community.

Workplace giving is also one of the most simple and cost-effective ways to make a positive community contribution whilst demonstrating a strategic commitment to corporate social responsibility.

You have the opportunity to help babies, children and people of all ages impacted by hearing loss. With your generosity, we are able to continue to provide support and services to teach children to hear, listen and speak, growing up to live a life not defined by hearing loss. Workplace Giving donations can be as much or as little as your employees wish, and are regularly deducted from their pre-tax dollars reducing their taxable income. Sometimes employers even opt to match the donations made by their staff, doubling the effectiveness of their gift!

“The donation is tax deductible and Sci-Fleet Motors matches it dollar for dollar. It is so rewarding to see the program grow each month. Every little bit counts! The program gives our staff a sense of pride in the company and for the work they do at Sci-Fleet."

Workplace giving FAQs

Your generous donations will help support the over 300 babies who are born with hearing loss in Australia each year. Through specialist support they will be ready to thrive at school with 100% of last year’s Hear and Say graduating early intervention children going on to achieve language skills within or above the average range and all were able to go onto mainstream schools.

Once an employee has moved on from your organisation they can choose to become part of our regular giving program and we can help transition them over. They will no longer be able to take advantage of pre-tax dollars for their donations until they sign up again through their new employer.

Workplace Giving means as a non-for-profit charity we can count on your funds coming in regularly and we can plan ahead, because we know that funding will be provided for our much needed services.

All staff can join the Workplace Giving program as long as they are employed by your organisation and your payroll processes their wages.

Most organisations choose to dollar match their employee’s contribution – dollar-for-dollar. This shows their incredible their commitment to the cause and to the employee by doubling their impact.
