As a not-for-profit organisation, Hear and Say relies on the generous support of our passionate community, government and philanthropic partners to support babies born deaf to learn to hear and speak.

Our team will provide quote for your appointment upon booking. If you see our therapists for regular appointments this will be quoted in your NDIS service agreement. You will receive an invoice and payment is expected on the day of your appointment (refer to NDIS guidelines below).

Accredited NDIS provider

Hear and Say is an accredited National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider and many of our programs and services are eligible for NDIS funding. Our dedicated team can support you at any stage of your NDIS journey – from accessing the NDIS for the first time, to preparing for the planning conversation, to using your funds. 

If your NDIS plan is self-manged, payment is required on the day of your appointment. If your plan is plan-managed an invoice will be sent directly to your nominated ‘plan-manager’ for payment. For agency-managed plans, Hear and Say will claim payment directly from your NDIS plan.

Medicare

We are able to provide Medicare rebates for some of our services. When booking your appointment, our friendly staff will advise of any rebate or gap.

Private health funds

Depending on your type and level of private health cover, you may get a rebate for some of our services including hearing aids, cochlear implants and other devices. It’s important to check with your insurer about what your policy covers.

Cancellation policy

Hear and Say will contact you prior to your appointment to confirm. If you’re unable to attend, notice for cancellation of a scheduled appointment is required. If sufficient notice is not provided in line with the Cancellation Policy, Hear and Say can charge 100% of the cost of the service for NDIS participants, or a late notice cancellation fee for private clients.
