About the group

For teenagers in Grades Seven to 10, this popular four-day group in September encourages participants to build their self-confidence and independence, while also working on social and communication skills.

The skill-building is done through fun, challenge-based activities focusing on communication and problem-solving.

On the third day of the program, participants will take part in a team-building excursion. In the past, activities have included up-cycling furniture, ninja courses, rock climbing and escape rooms.

The group is led by our experienced staff and helps participants to learn more about their hearing loss, technology and situations frequently experienced by teenagers with hearing loss. This program is suitable for return and first-time participants.

Follow-up day: Monday, 16 December from 10.00am – 2.00pm
